Who runs it
This is a reseller service. Servers and the signup system are run by MyOwnFreeHost and iFastNet, under the Tek-Host name, and your signup details go directly to them. The signup result page comes from their system.
How it fits with our comparisons
We benefit if you choose our plan, and that is a conflict of interest. Our plans are never ranked on our comparison pages. If you want to shop around, our shortlist is the better place to start. Read the full disclosure.
What it is not for
It is not suited to a business that depends on its site. A free plan comes with limits, and you should keep your own backups. Plans will cover legitimate sites under our acceptable use and refund policies.
